The colour trends around the world
?Color is a universal force of the visual world that brings life and meaning to everything we can see. While color is universally celebrated, countries from around the globe have diverging trends when it comes to which shades should be in the spotlight.
?Let’s do a little overview of the hottest hues for the year 2020 from across different countries. According to Shutterstock, a leading global provider of high-quality licensed multimedia, in current color trends there can be seen a shift from soft pastel colors to more sensational shades.
?So, Australia and France have chosen Magenta, an intense reddish-purple color, that is not proved to be quite in trend.
?However, Italian favorite of the year, a natural sea foam green color called Aqua Menthe, has become one of the trendy colors on Shutterstock list.
?Office green, saturated green color, is favorite hue of Canada and Germany. Unfortunately, the color has not been listed into 2020 trends.
?And finally, three leading colors of the current year have been named. Shutterstock states that Lush Lava – bold and eye-catching orange-red color, Aqua Menthe – mix of cyan and mint reminding the crystal-clear waters of Bora Bora, and Phantom Blue – indigo-navy color used in van Gogh’s Starry Night, will dominate 2020, emphasizing the trend towards maximalism and saturated hues.
