Figma Adds AI Features and New Tools

Figma announces new features: generative AI, the Figma Slides presentation tool, and an updated interface design.

The updated toolbar with rounded corners and 200+ new icons aims to focus the workspace on the work itself. However, it will be available in a closed beta version for now.

Generative AI will make it easy for even beginners to create designs. For example, creating a restaurant app design will take just a few seconds, including menus and buttons for delivery partners.

Figma Slides will allow designers to showcase prototypes directly from slides and add interactive elements such as polls.

The beta version of the new tools will be free, but after the official launch, the features may become paid.
